Serengeti, Tanzania – 2019This is the first photograph that I have taken of a big Nile crocodile that is strong enough to be released as a print. It’s taken me 30 odd years, but in crocodile years that is nothing. These monsters were around long before man and can live to 100 years old.Big crocs are not easy to capture in a way that conveys their enormity, their primeval menace or indeed their textural magnificence. But this image works and when I saw it in large size at the printers in LA, my heart skipped a beat. It has been worth the wait. I think we pushed a few boundaries here.The picture was made as opposed to taken as I had a preconceived idea of what I was trying to do. The starting point was my acceptance that head on images of crocodiles struggle as there is never enough depth of field with a telephoto to do them justice. The teeth can be in focus, but then probably not their eyes and certainly not their back or tail. I don’t like to have my focal point half way back in an image – it creates a tension point if the nearest point of a portrait is out of focus. A head on portrait fails to convey length and length is the key variable.I knew I needed to work at 90 degrees, with the croc perpendicular to the camera. I also wanted to be low and close and I wanted a big crocodile – why on earth photograph a small one? If almost all of the crocodile was the same distance from the camera, there could be a colossal amount of information in the image.Our research – and we did a great deal – led us to one place. The key was that the river had to be narrow, as for safety reasons I could not work from the same bank as a 12 foot crocodile – that could be my last assignment. The narrow Grumeti river in Tanzania offers chances and there is one 200-yard section with some enormous crocs on the south bank with a north bank just 20 yards away. The steep bank deters crocodiles on the north bank and that was what I needed to be able to work without fear and for the camera angle to be low. I needed to be at the same height as the croc – give or take a meter.The image was taken late in the day and the angle of the late sun gave me every chance for a clean picture – almost all the background was in heavy shadow and three stops underexposed.My preoccupation as an artist is to be original and creative. We often fail and disappoint ourselves, but this photograph is kind of cool. I haven’t really seen a similar image and we do put in the hours trawling the net. I had the right camera, the right lens and the right exposure. Phew!This scene could well have happened 10,000 BC – but we will never know. Shipping is free, but please note that import/duty taxes might be required at delivery in UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, some European countries. It usually ranges from and up, depending on the doll. The buyer is responsible for import taxes and fees. But, we are happy to split the duty fees with you after you’ve sent us your commercial invoice, we usually are ok to bear 50% of the Charge.

  • We ship products through reliable shippers (DHL/FEDEX/UPS/USPS).
  • Fraud prevention rules prevent us from shipping to any address other than the verified billing address. You however may have your package held for pickup at your nearest DHL, FedEx, UPS or USPS once you receive your tracking number.
  • Your doll will be delivered directly to your doorstep (unless you contact DHL/FedEx/UPS/USPS to hold for pickup) in a discreet plain, unmarked cardboard box.
  • Customs Agents may open and inspect your doll during transport.
  • It is the responsibility of the Buyer make sure that the product purchased is allowed and legal in the Buyer’s country. We will not issue refund if your product is confiscated by customs. Please contact local customs for clarification if you are unsure about the laws.
  • A signature is required for delivery.

Order Confirmation

Once you place your order you will receive a confirmation email from quovadis-ruocco. Orders placed on weekdays will be processed on the same day. Orders placed on weekends will begin processing the following Monday.

We review each and every order manually to ensure that all of the customization options are in order and that the doll you have ordered will meet your expectations. Please reply to this email to let us know that everything is accurate and that there are no mistakes.

Once you have replied to our confirmation email letting us know that everything is accurate, we start the manufacturing process. After confirmation of your order details, the order can’t be canceled for any reason.

PRODUCTION: The Average Estimated Production Time is 7-15 days. There are no production delays. However keep in mind that’s an average as there can be variables that determine each individual orders actual time frame.

Kindly Noted: All orders of in-stock dolls are processed immediately and therefore can’t be canceled.

Order Shipment

Due to holidays, festivities or unavoidable circumstances, delays may occur during the manufacturing or shipment of the product.

According to our sales experience for many years, if the package is improperly transferred and the delivery time exceeds 12 business days (except customs clearance time).

For all made-to-order dolls, we will send you photos before making the shipment. Please make sure you submit the correct email address so that you can receive your doll photos.

Shipment is discreet and signature is required for delivery to ensure it is received by the right person.

Be aware, that Customs Agents may open your doll box for inspection and to determine import taxes for customers outside the USA.

If you do not want to receive the order at your home, you can always have it held for pickup at a FedEx store (US orders) or DHL store (rest of the world) and you can pick it up there at your convenience. Once you receive your tracking number simply contact the shipping company (UPS/DHL/FedEx) and arrange to have it held for pickup at your nearest location. Photo ID and signature are required for delivery.

Cancellations & Returns

Products that are offered for sale via the Website are made-to-order for each Buyer by the respective Sellers. Accordingly, the following applies to refunds and returns for any Products purchased by a Buyer:

  • Orders may be cancelled by the buyer within 24 hours from the time of purchase for a refund which will be applied to the buyers original method of payment and there will be a 10% processing fee. quovadis-ruocco, must receive the cancellation request within the 24 hour period with no exceptions.
  • quovadis-ruocco will confirm order details via email with Buyer, if Buyer confirms the order details as correct, starting from that moment the order cannot be cancelled or returned for any reason. If Buyer wants to modify, edit or upgrade the order he has to reach out quovadis-ruocco, asap in order to request the changes and to see if the changes are possible. We will do our best to accommodate, but there are no guarantees.
  • Once the product is shipped to the buyer, THE SALE IS FINAL, and it can’t be cancelled or returned for any reason.
  • No returns are accepted under any circumstances. All sales are final. Due to the nature of sex dolls & toys, returns are not allowed for any reason.
  • All In-stock Dolls: including US Stocks, EU Stocks, CAN Stocks, FR Stocks. All orders of in-stock dolls are processed immediately and therefore can’t be canceled.

Returns and Exchange

Due to the nature of this product, it is not possible for us to provide an exchange or refund as there are multiple concerns such as hygiene. Please understand that this is the normal practice within the sex dolls industry.

Defective items

If your shipment is damaged upon delivery please take photos of damage of outside packaging and photos of damage done to the doll and file a claim with the shipping carrier immediately.

If the doll is defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery including the pictures or videos of the defective part. According to your problem, we will provide one of the solutions below:
